What is PEASMILE?
A matching service that connects models and cosplayers with photographers in Japan. Requests, payment and rules are handled in the app, and everyone is ID-verified.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Only people aged 18 or older can use PEASMILE.
How does payment work?
The photographer pays by card before the shoot and we hold the payment. After both sides confirm the shoot is complete, the model is paid, minus our commission. No cash changes hands on the day.
Can I book while I am a tourist in Japan?
Yes, as a photographer (the paying side). Visitors on a short-term stay cannot be paid as models.
What if someone cancels?
Last-minute cancellations carry a cancellation fee shown in the app. If the model cancels, the photographer gets a full refund.
Where do shoots take place?
In studios, public places, or event venues that allow photography. Hotels and private homes are not allowed.
Can we arrange things outside the app?
Please keep all payments inside the app. Shoots arranged outside the app are not covered by refunds or cancellation fees.
